Site News: Tutorials, new silk ribbon, and more

This month again we’ve got some new silk ribbon to offer! These are Pale Magenta and Mauve shades that are perfect for stitching lavender or hydrangea flowers. We have also got beautiful Teal Green shade perfectly suitable for foliage in 4mm width. Check out the juicy images below.

One of our popular colours Mantis ribbon is now available in 7mm width.

Note, the prices are lower on our branded website compared to any other off-site shops, because we do not need to share the commission, and all the purchases are still covered by PayPal Buyer Protection for added peace of mind. Save you money, shop on!

More wonderful news! We’ve got new Blog section on our website! Every week there will be new posts about silk ribbon embroidery techniques, stitches and other handy tips. We’re also planning to post free patterns and tutorials every now and then. As we’re ramping up volume of updates of the website, the newsletter will be more regular to keep you up to speed, but not more often then once a fortnight though to keep your inbox from bursting.

Our first post this week is about woven spider web’s stitch. It is one of the basic and still very nice stitches for creating lovely roses. We have posted very comprehensive tutorial so you could do one of them easily!

We are also starting a series of how-to posts for those who have never stitched with silk ribbon before. This week’s one is covering the most fundamental yet confusing questions of knotting the ribbon in the right way. Read the post.

We are always excited to see photos of your projects stitched with our silk ribbons! Many tanks to Tatyana Skvortsova who shared her lovely pincushion on our Facebook page, those violets and roses are so pretty!

We would be delighted to take a sneak peek on you craft pieces too! Please send us a photo on
